Sperber base for circular saw

Sperber base for circular saw - 01/28/05 11:58 PM

I have used a sperber built base on a circular saw in the past, and would like to buy/have fabricated a couple of bases for 16" makita saws. If any one knows how to help it would be much appreciated.
Thanks Todd Farr

A better place to post such a question is in the "TOOL FORUM"........

As best I know, Sperber bases are no longer available. However, Phil Bjork at Great Northern Timberworks makes a fantastic base for the older 16" Makita. You can find him in the directory. In my opinion, this base is superior to the Sperber in that you don't lose depth of cut and the available bevel angle is about 20 degrees.

Good Luck,
Bob
