I have 2 items. First, my step son is on the prowl for a portable sawmill. I was wondering if anyone had opinions on this. A long time ago, far away, in a different universe, I used a Sperber setup with large Stihl chainsaw to mill timbers for a white pine frame. It was something of a bear and made a very large kerf, but it worked well enough to do timbers. I was wondering what was out there these days. Second, I have a 12" Makita planer for sale with an extra set of blades. I purchased this used from Timberwolf Tools about 2 years ago. I used it on one hemlock frame (my own) and it is in good shape. The price is $1250.00

To find a portable sawmill there are several choices. Do you want to buy new? or used? If you want a small new one you could look at Woodmizer's LT15, or larger models. If you're looking at a used one you can usually find many listed at Samill Exchange.com
Good luck with your search.
