The front bed on My Makita 12" planer model kp310( its the older model.) is out of parallel with its fixed rear bed by over 1/8th Inch. It tilts forward which would be great if I only wanted to plane the tops of mildly curved timbers but I don't and am looking for advice from someone who has dealt with this issue before. The pistons seem to be in really good shape, no slop whatsoever and no binding as they travel in and out.The springs are tight. There doesn't seem to be any adjustment to the bed. I can't figure it out. I would assume it had been dropped but there are no dings or dents or confessions. I would also expect it to be out in the other direction as it is often stored with its nose down, and its rear resting on a block, which would stress it to belly in the middle but it is definitely tweaked in a concave way. Its performed flawlessly for years, the motor is strong and everything is tight so I hate to replace it. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
