I am looking for someone to video record the presentation of Petr Ruzicka. I am very interested, yet unable to attend the conference. I figure we would want his permission. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks Mike

Well, we're doing a pilot project at the TTRAG event to record each presentation and make them available (for a fee, of course) via the web, at any time after the event.

This is an expensive service, but we have promised the provider that if it is a success at the TTRAG event, we will do it at a much larger scale (and expense) for the Colordao event.

Would you pay $10-20 for the opportunity to see and hear a particular conference presentation via the web? This is an archive, not a broadcast service, so you could whatch the program whenever you wanted.

Would you pay $75-$100 for unlimited access to all conference presentations for a period of time?

My reply would definitely be yes to both options.
Having the choice between both options would definitely be a plus.

OK! Now I have to figure out a way to promote it without diminishing conference attendance.

Any ideas?

Hey, Brother...
When you have all the logistics figured out on the video thing, let me know. I'd like to do the same thing in Parksville. (we could sell a Petr R. tape as well!!)

Joel,

I can't imagine the idea of sitting infront of a computer waiting for recordings to download can realistically compete with a real live gathering of Framers.

I was hoping to make the TTRAG conference but cannot. I agree that the very best thing would be to be meeting with other framers; in lieu of that however, a video tape of the conference would very much be appreciated.
