First of all I am not the most eloquent speaker. So, let me say simply "Thanks". Thanks to a community of people that came to my family's aid in a time of great need. Thanks to a community of great minds and hearts that found it necessary to give so much to me when I needed it most and I was so ill-prepared to help those I love. Without you I fear we would face bleak times this holiday season, but instead, gratitude, humility and hope fill our hearts. Thanks to a group of people that work endlessly and selflessly to inspire and educate others with no expectations. I am inspired and educated will beyond the world of timber framing by you folks and hope that if I can ever help any of you in any way that you will call on me. I means this, any of you!
I hope that anyone reading this will consider what the Guild can do for them beyond the literature, and snazzy events. We are a group with several common goals and interest, the greatest in my opinion being service and camaraderie. I can't tell how many times out on the road one problem or another has thrown a stick in the spokes. Many times!! And the most difficult thing I have had to do is pick up the phone and ask. Re-spoked and rolling!!
I cannot convey how deeply moved we (Brandon and our family) are by the contribution you all so graciously gave. Words fail to translate the emotions, but one begins to "THANKS".
