Looking to replace our old makita 10 1/4 and wondering if anyone had experience using the new milwaukee model- looks like the price is right. Thoughts?

Mike,

The new Makita 10.25 is super sweet. I haven't used the Milwaukee, but I've heard it's junk. The bigfoot is OK, but the Makita is much better.

Thanks Brad- the old Makita (circa 1999ish?) was fine but lacked the gumption to work comfortably on a bevel or through long passes at depth. Looks like the newer model is a real improvement. Figures the price was too good to be true on the Milwaukee (only 330!)
