Will shortly erect a red oak frame (green) with standard SIPs. Want to put a stone veneer on the outside. Was wondering how much shrinkage of the timbers will occur to affect the stone? The stone has no give once the mortar has cured. Should I wait one heating season?

Michel:
What does your sip company say?
They should know about such things. If the sips are installed and supported correctly then they won't move much if any when the timber frame drys.
Good luck with your project.
