Thank you very much for the reply. I met George at the PA Conference, He imported his Doug Fir and has been away from Hawaii for a long time- working all over , except there. I emailed him first and have not recieved a reply, nor have I gotten a reply from John S on BigIsland..just was hoping someone else had knowledge in the arena. I have considered Port Orford Cedar and to just ship it over, but I want to exhaust my resources first as cost is King right now. Bob[/b]
Oh and by the way, the Termites are still 30-40 miles South of us. But, you are right, I have been studying up on them big time... They are closer to the Port cities and bigger populations, houses, subdivisions... We are in the sticks and NO ONE AROUND!!! ......
