I haven't finished it yet, so I don't know how it works. I have used a fixed Swan in the past that I like. The rack on that one automatically kicked out when it returned to the top, mine doesn't for some reason. Every boring machine seems to have its own neat little innovation. One of the ones Jim Rogers had for sale had a depth stop, and when you reached it, the head automatically returned to the upper position. Was that an Ajax Jim? I'd like to get a Boss and a Millers Falls someday.
