OMG, I can't believe the price of new windows!

My house design is coming along nicely and I am now at the point of choosing windows. I live in Eastern Canada (just outside of Ottawa) so energy efficiency is important, and so is lack of maintenance. I was thinking of going with aluminum clad wood windows (low-E, argon). Wood on the inside, zero maintenance outside.

Any comments or recommendations on windows for a TF ?
Aluminum clad vs vinyl clad ?

Thanks,
Marc.

Thanks Pegs,

They are actually number one on my call list. Not to mention they are in my back yard.

So you have had good experience(s) with these guys ?
