The Smithsonian has put together a fine traveling exhibit on covered bridges.: http://www.sites.si.edu/exhibitions/exhibit_main.asp?id=122

But they are using mostly photos and drawings. I don’t think they have three dimensional models. Not sure where to find some. The U.S. Patent Office used to require models for patent designs but a lot of this treasure trove of bridge wood sculpture may have perished in a fire.

Anybody out there know where to find covered bridge models available to lend to a museum hosting the Smithsonian exhibit?
