Green Horn, I have been there. Keep reading, take a workshop, look at other frames new and old, especially the old. Maybe start out with a small project, a swing set for the kids. Than take on a job for your neighbor than someone in the next town and before you know it, you still won't have your own home build. Good Luck, it can be done. Tim
