Timber framer looking for Summer / Fall 2008 work.
My work in the last 18 months has included designing and building custom timber frames for a 16' by 64' sheep barn, 28' by 32' traditional story and a half cape, 16' by 30' great room addition with a timber frame half octagon on the end and a 32' by 56' two story pool / greenhouse addition. You can view pictures of these projects and more on my website.
I like working with site milled native lumber, unique salvaged architectural materials, sharp chisels and craftsman with active brains.
I'm looking for projects to complete in my Ripton Vermont workshop, your Vermont, New Hampshire or Adirondak job site or would consider short term relocation for the right project. I have all the usual tools you'd expect and I'm fully insured with glowing references available on request.
Lets talk about your project.

Michael,

That's a charming advert. Would you consider putting it into Scantlings?

Today is the deadline.

To Update -- I'm building a couple smaller frames this summer, but am still looking for late summer / fall /winter timber frame work. Please contact me to discuss your project.

Thanks -- Michael Cummings
