The product I came across was a 7/8" 'Sturdi-floor' plywood that incorporated the sound attenuation board, I know it was rated a little less than the 24"+ joist spacing I needed.
So you would use whatever thickness flooring is required to make it meet or exceed code given your joist spacing.
I've never looked into the sound attenuation board as a stand alone product.
