Howdy,
It's Offical! On Saturday Aug. 22, we will be doing another barn raising of an 1888, 32ft x 56ft three bay timber-frame barn. The barn raising will take place just North of Edgerton, WI, on Craig Rd, between Hwy 73 and Hillside Rd.. We are extending an open invitation for volunteers and spectators to participate. This is a free event.
We will be raising the first bent at 8 AM. Lunch will be provided for the volunteers. A team of draft horses and a gin-pole will be used for the main lifts.
Hope to see you there.

Hi,
It would be wonderful to attend and see this spectacle but travelling all the way from England for the weekend could prove tricky and expensive.
Would it be possible for you to make and post some digi cam videos on "U" tube with links to same on this website and especially one of the horsepowered gin pole lift in action.
Good luck with your raising.
Regards
Ken Hume England
Looking back to see the way ahead !

The monkey in the video is me...been climbing all my life! I hope to do more of these relocation projects in the near future.
Thanks for the encouragement!
