I've had no luck setting up an avatar here, is the function currently disabled? My .jpg appears to upload fine but doesn't display.

Make sure it's 80x80 or less.

It's an 80x59 16m colour jpg (suppose the 59 is too small?)
I've tried an 18k (HQ photoshop version) as well as a 2k compressed (PShop settings stripped) version.

I guess I'll export a gif and see what happens...

Nope, gif didn't work either nor did increasing that 59 to 80.

OTOH there's something zen in having a blank box.

It's not working for me, either.

Trying to upload a 79x79 .png. Click the radio button next to the upload custom avatar and then hit submit.

I just get the empty box with the question mark.

Nope... png at 79x79 is still a no go.

I tried changing mine a few weeks ago several times and it would not work. Somehow I think the function is not working to upload and save new avatars. Is Jeff aware of this?

Excuse me, I meant Joel. My head was in another forum.

I've done that both directions now...

I'm guessing it got (accidently) disabled whe they turned off the stars.
