Hi,

I have a customer who want to build a timber frame home SE of Eau Claire Wi.

The bank apparently has no clue what a timber frame is nor does their appraiser.

They are giving them about $87.00 a sq ft for construction. The appraiser didn't find a timber frame in the area that had sold. They can use finished home costs as a guide, but they don't know of any that have been built either.f

Anyone know of a timber frame built in the last year in Wisconsin?
