Hello everyone, new to the forum and relatively new to the guild. Need a little direction in the form of workshop plans with detailed joinery drawings. I would like to have something along the lines of 30' x 50' clear-span. Does anyone have a direction they could send me in to find these or has anyone built something like this? Thinking about a queen post truss system.

You may or may not find something off the shelf for this. 30' is reasonable. 50' you will be pushing it.

Are you planning on cutting this yourself?

There are numerous folks on the forum who could design and engineer this with your input (myself included), and provide detailed shop drawings.

Thanks for the response. I have looked around for plans and can't seem to find what I am looking for. I have found plans for smaller structures that I like, just don't have the knowledge to increase them (i.e. sizing timbers, joinery, etc.) The 30' would be the span (bents), the length would be 50'. I am planning on using Southern Yellow Pine for the wood. Myself and a friend who are trying to get our feet really wet are going to be cutting it together with the help of another friend's Woodmizer. The one pertinent issue is that it have a clear span to use for floor layouts. I really appreciate your help and advice. Please let me know what kind of information I can get together to help this along. Thanks again.
