Timber Framers Guild Forums Tools Timber Engineering Eastern White Cedar/Timber choice

Has anyone used eastern white cedar for an engineered frame? I'd like to use some of the trees on my property to join 8x8s, 4x6s "a la old school". I'm looking for any good resources that list eastern white cedar span/deflection/compression/shear strength in timber sizes and am located in Ontario. Most local timbers used are white pine.

Northern White Cedar is listed in the NDS book.
