I am sure Hundeggers have their place, however I think that they represent an entirely different approach to TF than what I would like to experience. You may be able to produce a lot of beautiful frames with one, but are you cheapening the craft in the process? (And I don't mean reduce the cost
) I don't want to knock high production timber framing, it certainly makes a frame house more available to more people. There is certainly enough room for anybody who can produce an honest frame. I like the idea of being able to walk into the woods with a box of tools and produce an entire frame without electricity or complex equipment.
