Had four 2" drill bits sent to sharpening service. On each the lead screw was nicked. Can these be restored? How? Or are they trash?
Have a 3" slick that had the edge beveled in an arc. Could this be original grind or was this an artifact of previous sharpening? If intentional, why? For some special purpose?
Some of the corner chisels I have scrounged have a point at the middle where the two beveled surfaces meet. Intentional or an artifact of previous sharpening?
I am an amateur who has taken a timber frame course and I am trying to build an 8'X12' shed for an RV campsite, using timber drill and other traditional tools.
Thanks for your thoughts.
