my mill was a locally manufactured unit, it's about 20 years old I think. IT is labelled as a "Board Bandit". I have stripped off the 18 hp kholer twin, and installed a 13 hp honda. I don't expect it to get much use, so went with a smaller honda, since I'm not getting into production, but value reliablity first most. I honestly have a little work to do with the existing guides, they are missing some parts to allow ease of set up. Am thinking of flipping the whole thing, which is a shame, since it will cut 24' and it has a lovely truss system which holds the entire bed true easily. If I could figure out how to post pictures, I would do so. The other issue is that I can't cut less than 1 1/2 on the last cut. bah humbug.

1.5" is a killer, I can just squeeze out 3/4" on mine for a last cut.
