Timber Framers Guild Forums General Barns and Traditional Timberframing cost to construct timber frame barn

I am currently engaged as a consultant to the Insurance industry and have been asked to formulate an opinion of the replacement cost of a barn which has been destroyed by fire (Ontario, Canada). Any suggestions?

I'd try to get at least three people over to look at the remains of the barn so they can give an informed opinion as to the replacement cost.

There is a gentleman that I know who has a lot of experience in the insurance industry and in the timberframe industry, and in fact does a lot of damage / restore projects.
