I’m down in the San Diego area, I’ve been looking for some nice, KD clear plain sawn 2x10 and 2x12 Port Orford cedar. I’ve been using 2x12 cvg wr cedar for years but it’s so much $$ these days! I’ve only been able to get one quote from Metcalf Sawmill Products in SW Oregon, where POC is from, but the best price so far is from Bear Creek lumber, but they're up in Washington state!

Where else could I check? My typical order would be-
2x12 12- 9’
2x10 6- 7’
2x8 8- 7’, 4- 10’
2x6 8- 12’

I have curved rafters cut by CNC from the 2x12 so need a nice flat stable stock that won’t move / warp after cutting those curves. I’ve heard that even plain sawn is stable without much cupping?

Wish I could edit the post and change title to Port 'Orford' cedar. instead of 'post' Orford cedar!
