Looking for a tool/manufacturer of tool to bevel the hammered ends of pegs after they have been inserted so they will look similar to the lead ends.

Hi Tom: I never thought to try that but I imagine there some pencil pointer type arragements out there in the market that will satisfy your wish. A small draw knife may get the look too. Let us know when you find something. Curtis

You might experiment with one of the dowel tools used for rustic furniture and the like. I believe they have a concave radius on the entry point. Slightly different look.

Try Lee Valley Tools, they sell a "pencil sharpener" thing that chucks into your drill, maybe $50-$60.
