Thinking of getting a 12" sliding compound miter saw. Anybody use these for cutting brace stock? The 12" has a cutting depth of 4 inch so should cut 4X6 braces. The saw would also be useful to cut flooring and siding but a regular miter saw could do that.
Any input?
Thanks
Bob

The nice thing about sliding miter saws is that they have a swing away depth stop that is real handy for the sholder cuts and kerfing the tenon. Tom
