Hello-
I am planning to move out to San Francisco for at least the winter, maybe longer, and after eight years of timber framing in maine, would love to find similar work there. i began timber framing at eighteen and worked for five years as the second man of a two man team, carving and constructing in those years one shop, three houses, two barns, one 4 bent kitchen addition, and one public library roof system. We also worked on several other good sized non-timber frame projects as well. On my own i have handled the construction of two summer houses and a barn. i also have a full assortment of tools and a truck. So, if there is any one out there in the San Fran area that thinks they could use me, or knows of someone who could, i'd love a good carpentry job.
Thanks,
Dylan

There is a forum or board at the Timber Framers Business Council site where you can post this also....
Also, there maybe some job openings posted there....

Whatever you do, have fun doing it!
