chainsaw carving

Are there any framers who are making extra cash from chainsaw carving? Times are rather slow for work. I was wondering if chainsaw carving an old habit of mine is a money maker? Or are guys doing rustic timber frame furniture successfully as a sideline? What size of a jointer and planer are guys using their shops? Are regular wood carvings selling?
