Looking for photos of carved timbers. - 12/17/09 09:43 PM

I've recently become interested in carving, in particular architectural carving. I'm looking for some photos or links to carvings, both in timbers, and other architectural elements. Can be from any region, i.e. U.S., U.K., Europe, Asia etc. Thanks.

Canada probably doesn't have any carvings anyway so I guess there is no point in including us. Hey, do Totem poles count?

Totems are cool.

I don't know how prevalent carved timbers are in North America. The few pictures I have seen are of medieval English origin.

And she was looking fine:
