How to Book - Foreman

Is there such a book?
How to be a (good) Foreman
I don't know of such a book, but it may exist. Certainly there are thousands of books on management practice -- many written by failed managers.
My experience is that people with such a talent come by it naturally. Remember the old adage: "Those who can do, those can't teach, and those who can't do either consult."

Totally agree Brian, But
I am just checking to see if there is anything out there that will assist with underpin, support, or otherwise help our existing guys who can do it.
I realise that it is a one in a million chance, but hey! isnt it what this is all about.

With the emphasis on might!
OK, here is a more useful answer.
The Journal of Light Construction often publishes articles on such management topics. In addition, they have an online bookstore at
http://www.jlconline.com/bookstore/ . Currently they are featuring a book called "The Lead Carpenter Handbook" which may contain just the sort of tips you are seeking.
