historical drive shed frames - 04/15/02 01:22 AM

Hello all:
I am very interested in historical driveshed frames, it would be interesting to hear from anyone out there who has a feeling for the subject. Discussions on their bay widths along with unusual framing styles and attachments that you have noticed. An Email picture to my email address would be welcome and I would exchange picture for picture with respondents,
thanks --the northern hewer

Hi Ken:
well a driveshed is an open sided building divided into bays that you would park your horse and wagon\buggy\sleigh under upon arrival at say a church, business, or someone's home.
They come in all sizes and shapes just like barns and houses with unusual framing techniques, and that is what I am researching here in Dundas County Ontario
Thanks for the post hope to hear more from you
