I am very interested in historical driveshed frames, it would be interesting to hear from anyone out there who has a feeling for the subject. Discussions on their bay widths along with unusual framing styles and attachments that you have noticed. Hi Ken:
well a driveshed is an open sided building divided into bays that you would park your horse and wagon\buggy\sleigh under upon arrival at say a church, business, or someone's home.
They come in all sizes and shapes just like barns and houses with unusual framing techniques, and that is what I am researching here in Dundas County Ontario
