Timber Frame Lumber Western Mass.

I'm looking to build a timber frame woodshed from a design I got from Mother Earth News. does anybody know a good place to buy timber framing materials in Western Massachusetts? I live in Otis if that's of any help. i'm looking for 4*4s and 8*8s.

You could try Terry Ignace of Ter-Mar Triangle Farm. He is in Sanisfield on rt. 183. I have not purchased anything from him, however he does have a Woodmizer and a yard full of logs. I believe he can get you what you need. There are fewer and fewer mills around these days. Gingras in Sheffield has shut down, they used to be a good supplier for smaller orders. I hope to have a mill next summer, as I see a demand for these types of orders,and also for my own use. If I remember I will try to get the number for Terry, although it should be in your phonebook.

New Britain Log-N-Lumber in East Chatham, NY is just over the state line from MA. They will have what you need.

Lamore Lumber in Greenfield/Deerfield sells P+ B structures. You might try them.
