Bleaching/Pickling/White washing OAK ??

Hello, contrary to our preference a customer wants us to Bleach or pickle their Oak timbers. Our theory on staining anything is that if nature intended it they would have made it that way. But I guess were willing to bend on this one.

Does anyone have a recommendation of a product or home-brew to give Oak timbers a light pickling or white washed look ?
