the building review in out city said the corner bracing is not defined for inclusion into earth quake lateral load
resistance. The value R in the equations
V=2.5CIW/R & V=ZICW/R is not defined by
tests.
Hence, the TF design must use outside/inside
shear panels.
What's everyone else doing? Can the frame withstand EQ loads by itself?
