Drill Guides

Looking for some candid reviews on drill guides. I'm considering a purchase and wondering if they are efffective. Looking at the Protool models right now. How are they at drilling at angles. On that note, anyone have any tips on drilling angles acurately without one of these pricy units? Also, does anyone know of a canadian supplier for these?
