Hi looking to buy a used or aftermarket shoe/saw base for the older gold Makita 16" saw as I am less than impressed with what comes with the saw from Makita...

I have both an Old Gold and New Blue. I have this base on both. It's not fit for timber framing without it. I also have mone on my Old Gold 10" Makita. The New Blue 10" does not need it. CB.
