KC100 mortiser

Any of you guys ever use the Makita KC100 chain mortiser? I don't think it's available in North America to buy, but maybe I'm wrong. It looks like good competition to the pricy German cross-cut models.

I'd be interested in hearing any thoughts on this Makita. But speaking as a Mafell owner - I can pop a precise mortise in red oak faster then I can type this. Yes, it's spendy - but worth every penny in my opinion.
