I am cutting aframe 12 X 16 frame for a camp bunkhouse which will be heated by a woodstove and
I am trying to educate myself about SIPS and other insulation and enclosure methods. Any information, opinions, or reference resource
suggestions would be greatly appreciated, especially since decisions I make now will affect overhangs, etc. Please share your experiences with me. Thank you.

Joe, I too am interested in hearing experienced peoples thoughts about the different panels out there, but perhaps we're all too busy to take the time. Or maybe this open discussion is not the place to point out perceived 'problems' or 'issues' with particular manufacturers. Joel, any thoughts on this? Does an anonymous discussion make sense? How do we educate ourselves on these things? Rich.

if you know how to produce "standard" stick frame panels, then i would consider using them as wall systems.
stick frame walls can be wired, plumbed, and insulated easily and fastened to the outside of the frame easily. One element we change from a standard stick frame is to use extra studs around the door and extra fasteners to the frame in the door area.
We used this method on our first house and cut our own 1.125"x6" to use as framing.......
Stick frame panels would do well on smaller buildings like the bunk house mentioned
