Nate, are you a member of the Guild? If you are the newsletter sent out to members always has those listings in the back.

another possible way would be to search on google "timberframing, company, apprenticeships" or something along those lines.

I was waiting for the payday to join officially (though in spirit I am already there).

As far as apprenticships go, I considered too late the Heartwood school, as applications were due on the 1st of March. Instead I think I'll take a few classes as the fall progresses... I am also working on my resume, in the hopes that a position will open up somewhere.

Thanks for the reply.

Torio Miyadaiku, Iwao Nakajima is now residing in New York (on Long Island). A lifetime devotee to his craft and an avid teacher, "Gen" is always enthusiastic about passing on his
skills and forwarding the craft. Very much in touch with the demanding traditions of his craft, yet open and creative. His intersts run wide from The Tea house and Temple to objet'd'art.
More info can be found if you E-ddress "Master Temple Carpenter"
and check out the New York Times article. I also have brochure and pics. Anyway.... perhaps a good resource for you.
