Foot attachment

Any ideas of how best to secure the foot of a 27' valley 7x16 DF rafter to a stick-built subfloor? I also have two full 23' gable rafters coming down to sit on both sides of this valley. I am thinking of using a steel flange bolted to the floor that has a vertical member with holes that fits up into a saw-kerf in the valley foot. Then through-bolt it. THen through-bolt the rafter feet into the valley foot.
