Does this "bug" anyone ...?

I only have a couple of minutes to post and have to run but I thought I would take the time to share these images of a male dobsonfly I found a few days ago.

The first image is just a hair smaller than life size; this will give everyone an idea of the size of this insect. They are harmless since the mandibles are too large for the insect to exert much force with them (and in case anyone is curious, that's my hand he's sitting on).

If the images are not visible try the link at a later time ... Yahoo! Geocities web hosting only allows a limited amount of data transfer.

LOL ... or maybe "Off Topic".

I was in a rush yesterday and didn't notice this was being posted in the wrong forum until too late. Oh well, Axe Throwing is kind of a catch-all off topic zone anyway. And the mods can always move this if they feel it's innappropriate.

Here is a bug with the extraction device. This was this past winter, it was a bit stiff, Summer worms are softer and they don't come out intact. I am also testing photo size. Tim

If you can keep them away form compressed air they grow quick. Sorry, no bug guts. Is this verging on unontopicness? Tim

This one may have an ontopicness quality...
