Probably dropping in. Might be helping out Clark at his pre-con if he'll take me. . And I offered the TFG powers that be to set up a 'Doctor is In' SketchUp help desk between sessions - sort of like the bookstore. And I'll work for beer and chips. no word on that just yet.

I'm gearing up towards this workshop. I will be stopping by with our tools for sale during the workshop. But.... If any of you guys going to the Geometric workshop need any specific hand tools, I have a few dividers and I'm about to receive two race knives. And I have been in contact with Jack Sobon and I have been supplying him with some period tools for you guys to use. Some interesting augers, for sure....
Send me a private email if there is something you need for your toolbox for this workshop and I'll do the best I can to get it for your before hand.

Does anyone know if they are going to send out a tool list for the workshop? Tools which we should have, I am guessing some less common tool will be available for use. What type of saw will be used? Are the dividers of a specific type? Maybe some better than others? Axe, adze? How "period" will it be?
How about the weather in that part of Mass in late Oct?
I am looking for more detail, what type of T-auger, saw? In the photos I see a twisted auger and a cross cut saw, from the 1700s? These are the only two I see as being questionable.

Tim,
The weather can vary quite a bit, frosty mornings with mild sunny days (some times really warm) to overcast rainy drizzly days that are downright raw. The middle of October is the start of bird and deer season, my favorite time of year! There is nothing like the smell of the onset of Fall.
