Is it still a stumpkin if not made by The Stumpkin? Or just a pseudo-stumpkin? crazy

A Stumpkin by any other name is still a "Stumpkin".
Or you can call it a "Jack-O-Log".

If you want the Official Stumpkin Carving / Burning, I Have Chain Saw will Travel.

Haha!

Are you going to Saratoga? I'm going to try and make it.

Hi Tom,
This is Jeff Carpenter. I was there and really enjoyed the whole thing. Joined the guild too. Started my first timber frame today. Thanks for the stumpkin. Keep up the good work, I'm sure I'll see you some time in the future.

Hi Jeff,

Thanks for bringing your guitar, nothing goes better with live Stumpkins than live music. Keep us posted on your progress.

Dave, the conference line up looks interesting, especially Laurie Smith's talk on geometry, but I'm financially challenged.

I'm going, but only because it's within driving distance. I am signed up for Jack Sobon and Laurie Smith's geometric design workshop in October.
