Bill wasn't a big timber framer but he did do what he wanted with his life and shared it with others. A peaceful man.

I saw that post. I haven't read much about him, other than what Peter mentioned, and an article in one of Lloyd Kahn's books. I'll have to find his book.

Many times while morticing I have thought about the word and the connection between an undertaker/mortician and our counter part the mortice. Ten of us hand dug the largest mortice of my career. 84" long 30" wide and 4.5' deep. A fitting tribute to a man and his "Handmade Life"
