I am looking for someone in the Columbus/Lancaster Ohio area knowledgable in dismantling 1824 post/beam bank barn frame. I have a strong construction background but have no idea how to handle this. I am in need of help - education, direct supervision, what ever to get it down and reconstruct at a different location.

Jay:
If you go to the Guild home page you can click on the Resource guide. There you can select the resource guide by clicking on the light-bulb icon in the upper right hand corner. Follow the links until you get to the Search page. You can enter the word "name", "dismantle", and "restore" in the keyword box, select "OH" for your state, and select "barn repair/reuse" as the Category Type, and you'll get a list of names from each search. Most of them include email address and of course phone numbers.
Then you can try and contact someone who is close to you.
Also, to get more names widen your state search, by not selecting a state and leave it at "Choose one".
Good luck with your project research.
