UK Framers meet up - 08/28/99 06:08 PM
Today 28-8-1998 a group of about 40 British Timber Framers gathered at The festival of Wood,
(held annually at the Westonbirt Arboretum, Nr Tetbury), to hold informal talks about setting up some sort of group / association / guild in the UK.
Hopefully the minutes of this meeting about meetings will be posted on this site, and it will be used as a temporary clearing house whilst we set up something more permanent.
The mood was very positive, the general consensus was that we would set up one or two events next year, and that a steering group will be established to guide us into the next stage.
To say more would be to pre-empt the minutes - watch this space.
