I'm an experienced carpenter (stick) with a strong desire to learn the art of timberframing. Are there any experienced timberframers in the Western New York area looking for help on their next raising? Please reply on this board.

Thanx

Dennis Ball

Hello Dennis,45
I do need help on my timber frame cutting and raising, but I'm in Hot Springs, NC (about 45 min NW of Asheville.)The 4 bent struture is 24 X 38 and just started cutting last week. Not sure how long it will take, I'm currently working by myself with little help from an old timber-frame crew I use to work with. If this sounds interesting to you or anyone else drop me a line.
Thanks
Wille

Thank you for the offer, but NC is a bit too long of a commute. Good luck with your project. wink
