My building inspector has informed me that I need to use 'Graded and Stamped' timbers for a large addition I'm planning in SE CT. Can someone please provide me with a few sources for graded and stamped timbers (the closer the better). I'm planning to work with EWP, but will consider other species. Thank You.

Rather than using a sawmill that will grade the timbers a simpler approach is to find an architect who "has a stamp" ---- meaning that he is licensed to grade timbers and stamp them. Then, you could buy from any source and satisfy the building inspector. Sorry, I only know such architects in Massachusetts.
