Hello!

I plan on building a 30 x 60 Timber Frame barn. Are there any generic plans avail for approx that size that I might use as a starting point? I may go English Barn style or Yankee Barn Style. Don't know yet. I am lucky to have 2 hand hewn English barns in walking distance. I may choose to copy aspects of them ( or the whole of them ). I will be using primarily White Pine , but will work in some hardwoods. I will use my own trees and will mill the lumber on site. I have sufficient timber resources to do gunstock posts if I go with the English Tie joints.

I should also mention that it will be a Bank Barn.

I am a neophyte Timber Framer, but do have extensive building experience. I have taken the Square Rule and the Scribing Workshops. I plan on this being a several years long project.
