Anybody tried the milling system from Lignatool?
Dealer in US
We would be glad to hear pro and cons from anybody who has been in contact or is using this system!

I have one of these. It works great. Its no more expensive than any other tf tool.
Make sure of your proccedure because it would be an expensive oops to nick it with
the router.definitely saved time and joints were real tight. Because of the shape
of the pocket I think, there is no gaps from shrinking etc.I also used it to attach
corbels to the mantel. Stays tight even when shrinking ocurrs.
(Sorry for cheating)

Thanks,

I am considering using it to build a timber frame house this summer but cannot find any information re: pros and cons of the dovetail milling system. Would really like to get such information before proceeding. I am interested in knowing the structural properties of the joint comparing it to the traditional mortise and tenon connection, (i.e. load bearing, tension characteristics, connection types where it will not work etc. ). I am also concerned with the shallow depth of the cut. Seems pretty shallow for larger timber members.

In any case, would really like information other than verdor info.

Thanks.
